My wife, Jerri, and I started breeding Labradors in 2002. We found the breed to be extremely intelligent and loving. Our first lab, Christy was easy to train, a great hunting companion, and a joy to our entire family. Christy passed away in the fall of 2005, but her legacy lives on in her children and grandchildren. We now have her daughter Black Shadow and granddaughter Lilly Red. Aphrodite, from Christy’s first litter, lives with our oldest son and wife, Ethan and Ali, in the Chicago area. Echo, from Shadow's 2007 litter, lives with our oldest daughter, Adina, and her husband Adam, in Ogden, KS.
Our two remaining children, Kerri and Kendrick, spend a lot of time training and playing with our labs and all of the puppies we have at the time. I am an avid hunter and can tell you what great hunting companions our labs make in the field or blind. Jerri, a Certified Nurse Midwife, delivers all of our puppies (when she isn't traveling the world as a volunteer nurse two weeks a year). She ensures proper vaccinations, de-worming, and health.
Our home is located in the woods of rural Wisconsin near the village of Elkhart Lake. Our dogs and puppies have plenty of room to run during playtime. Nearby lakes also offer opportunities for an introduction to water and duck hunting. Give us a call or send an email; we'd like to hear from you.
